    Arq - an abortive attempt at a night out

    You'd think that getting a taxi from Paddington to Darlinghurst would not be a difficult thing, easy huh?
    Well after two hours and 45 mins on Friday night, we cancelled our taxi and our night out at Arq for the special transgender night they've been having lately. Trying to get a taxi in our suburb after a Super 14 Waratahs Rugby Union game is a nightmare, although I never realised it would be that bad. I must say, I'd put my best drag queen bling on and we both looked spectacular. Just another reason to move to somewhere not Paddington!

    Hey Cyanne, it seems ages since we caught up.  Have been wondering how Kat's dental nightmare had been panning out, so I guess by the fact that you were heading out again, that she has recovered and is back into the swingof things.  Please pass on my regards.

    You are absolutely right about taxis in Paddo when the Rugby is on...just hopeless.  The inner west is far more accomodating - hint, hint!
